I am interested in some fundamental and practical challenges in Physics and Materials Science & Engineering, specifically the processing-structure-property relationships and the discovery of functional and sustainable materials. Technically, I am developing innovative methods that integrate theoretical, computational, and artificial-intelligence techniques while working closely with experimental experts in interdisciplinary team efforts to close the design loop. Over the last decade, this approach has been used for multiple classes of functional polymeric and quantum materials.
